Linda Tycher & Associates, founded in 1978, is a Landscape Architectural Design firm based on the principal that a high level of design provides increased value to a project, insuring its successful form, function, and long-term viability. Linda Tycher brings over 40 years of experience to the firm and is registered in Texas, Michigan, New Jersey, Arizona, Oregon, the State of Washington, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Ms. Tycher's background in campus planning is utilized on a broad range of projects requiring an analysis of site specific parameters and the creation of livable and walkable environments. The ongoing direction of the firm emphasizes urban infill development, adaptive re-use sites, and dynamic people spaces that tie the project to the fabric of the city. Ms. Tycher served on the City of Dallas Urban Design Advisory Committee (UDAC) for three terms. The firm was also part of the team that designed the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Twenty Mile Light Rail Starter System and was involved in community meetings for eleven (11) light rail stations over a period of six years. Stephen Murphy, RLA, Senior Project Manager, brings over 15 years of landscape architectural design experience to the firm. In addition to Texas Registration as a Landscape Architect, his primary focus in the firm is providing sustainable design and expert documentation that allows the finished project to reach its full potential.
